Welcome to the Boars Head a family run business dedicated to providing great service at a venue where people can wine dine and relax in comfort.

From the 16th century, the Boars Head has been at the heart of life in the village of Hoghton. Our mission since taking over the reins in 2009 has been to continue this tradition by offering top quality food, drink and service in a modern but relaxed setting.

We pride ourselves on catering for most situations from celebrations, to business lunches, walking parties, intimate dining, family meals and of course providing our guests with the facilities to simply enjoy a relaxing drink with friends in a traditional pub setting.

Our varied menu and specials are prepared daily in our own kitchens from the best local produce. We have a number of customer favourites which we blend with a good mix of modern and more varied cuisines which provides a great choice for our guests.

With all our dishes prepared in-house we are able to cater for most dietary requirements. We have a separate bar area serving a good selection of draught beers, lagers and ciders along with a comprehensive wine list and an extensive array of spirits and soft drinks.
